"Grief is a powerful emotion. We grieve a lot because we loved a lot"
Have you recently lost a loved one? Do you feel the crushing pain of them no longer being present? Are you asking "Why God, why did you take them!?" Do you feel that it is hard to keep going because they are gone? The pain is real and knowing that a friend, family member, mom or dad, spouse, or even a child is no longer here can be debilitating. God is near to the broken hearted and we want to be as well. Know that you are not alone even when it feels like life itself is closing in. Even if you are not quite yet ready to open up and share, we would love to partner with you on your journey of healing.
Grief Share - Friday Evenings | 7:00pm (September 13 - December 6)
Grief Share is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Grief Share is a free support group that meets for 13 weeks and you can join at any point. You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an "oasis" on your long journey through grief.

Why is a Grief Share community so important?
We don't want to feel weak and so we mask our emotions and pretend everything is OK. At Grief Share, it is OK to not be OK. We need to be able to share the truth and the heaviness that is on our hearts in an authentic and loving environment.
Sometimes in our grieving, it feels as if we are drowning and can't come up for air. Sometimes we need a helping hand. "He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.” (Psalm 18:16)
"Working through your grief is not an easy task; it is a difficult task that involves dedication. Be assured, God has a plan for you during this season of pain, and God will give you the strength to persevere through the pain." - June Hunt, Keys to Grief Recovery.
