Mission Action Team
SW Hills has a missions board called Mission Action Team that currently meets on the first Wednesday evening of each month.
Mission Action Team – Mission Statement:
The Mission Action Team exists to bring glory to God locally and globally by making disciples of Jesus Christ so that he is praised and worshiped in our Jerusalem and to the ends of the earth.
Key verses:
2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.
Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
Missions at SW Hills is an international outreach program with the intent of facilitating varied mission outreaches while maintaining sensitivity to God's leading for both individuals and whole teams. Our partners work locally and globally to make God known to the nations. God has given us valuable partnerships who work faithfully to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matt: 28:18-20) These partnerships maximize our opportunity as a church family to participate in varied ministries while drawing on the vast treasure of gifts and skills God has developed among us. Our goal remains to raise-up and send-out workers into the harvest fields of our communities and the nations.
